Roberto Flor, the scientific coordinator of the Verona branch of the CSSC, was included by La Repubblica in the list of the 500 Italian men and women who matter in Artificial Intelligence.
As reported by the newspaper, Flor is a “professor of Criminal Law and IT Criminal Law, serving as the scientific coordinator for the Inter-university Center for Security and Crime Sciences. He specializes in cybercrime law, cybersecurity law, and Artificial Intelligence Law. His research focuses on the legal discipline of AI and cybersecurity for Artificial Intelligence, including identifying potential forms of attribution of responsibility for damages caused by or through such systems. He is responsible for and participates in research projects that investigate the use of AI systems in investigative or intelligence activities for the detection and prevention of cybercrimes.“
