An agreement has been signed between the CSSC (through the Department of Law of the University of Verona) and the Municipality of Verona titled “Barometro Sicurezza” (EN: Security Barometer).
The project aims to achieve the following objectives:
1) Measuring security: providing an innovative, reliable and neighbourhood-based measurement of objective and subjective security in the city of Verona through a random and geo-referenced survey;
2) Building security: translating the data and findings obtained through the survey into proposals for building objective and subjective (perceived) security in the Municipality of Verona;
3) Communicating security: supporting the administration of the City of Verona in understanding and communicating the findings obtained and, more generally, in communicating safety to citizens.
