On 17 September 2026, the conference Reforming civil protection liability: models of responsibility and operational implications for emergency forecasting, prevention and management was held at the Department of Law of the University of Verona.
The event brought together institutional representatives and experts from different disciplines to discuss the legal and operational aspects of the reform, focusing particularly on the balance between protecting the population and addressing the responsibilities of those required to make decisions in complex and highly uncertain situations.
Roberto Flor, a member of the CSSC Board and Scientific Coordinator of its Verona branch, was the contact person for the initiative. Andrea Di Nicola, Director of the CSSC, also spoke at the conference.
