Launch of the new Joint Master’s Degree in Legal and Criminological Sciences for Security and Intelligence (SCIC)

On Wednesday, 5 November 2025, at 2:30 p.m., the Department of Law of the University of Verona (Aula Magna, via C. Montanari 9) will host the official launch of the Joint Master’s Degree in Legal and Criminological Sciences for Security and Intelligence (SCIC).

The programme is a collaboration between the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Verona, the Faculty of Law at the University of Trento, and the Centre for Security and Crime Sciences (CSSC). It offers an interdisciplinary education designed to train professionals capable of working in the fields of security and intelligence, including their digital and transnational dimensions.

The curriculum combines legal, criminological, IT, statistical, psychological, and historical skills and has been developed with the support of key national stakeholders. Its goal is to train a new generation of legal criminologists equipped to meet the needs of both public and private sectors, in Italy and abroad.
