“Is Verona less secure? With tourism and wealth, certain crimes are physiological”

Interview with Andrea Di Nicola in the Corriere di Verona: “The figures are the same as 5-6 years ago. Wherever there are flows, tourism and wealth, it is physiological that certain predatory crimes increase”. Professor Andrea Di Nicola – Director of the Center for Security and Crime Sciences created by the Universities of Trento and Verona – commented on the “Quality of Life 2023” survey by Sole24Ore, which ranked the province of Verona in 10th place overall based on 2022 data, but downgraded it from 30th to 57th place in the “Security” category.
