The Rognoni-La Torre Law between history and the present: round table presenting the book

Trento

On April 14, in Room A of the Law Building of the University of Trento, starting at 11 a.m., a round table will be held on the occasion of the presentation of the book “The Rognoni-La Torre Law between history and the present.

The book (first volume of the series AP -Profondimenti promoted by AvvisoPubblico), edited by Enzo Ciconte, describes historically the evolution of the law and includes contributions from a judge, a police officer and a mayor who experimented, from different points of view, with the application of preventive measures and the use of wealth stolen from the mafias for social purposes. It also includes a contribution by Giuliano Turone, an unpublished interview with Virginio Rognoni and excerpts from some recently declassified documents, as well as statistical data on seized assets and companies.

The round table will provide an opportunity for experts from different disciplines and perspectives to discuss the relevance of Art. 416 bis (and related measures) forty years after its promulgation.

The event is open and has been organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento (scientific coordinator: Gabriele Baratto) in collaboration with CSSC and AvvisoPubblico.
